Northamptonshire FA ADHD and Football Guide

Learn more about ADHD and how to make football more inclusive for ADHD Awareness Month this October.

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a lifelong neurodevelopmental disorder. Despite not being well understood, it’s estimated that over 2 million people in the UK have ADHD – that’s around 1 in 20 people.

“It’s like there is three of me, all wanting to do different things at the same time” – Alex, aged 10.

This ADHD Awareness Month, Northamptonshire FA are pleased to be able to share our first ever ‘ADHD and Football’ Guide, to support our fantastic community of grassroots football clubs to better understand ADHD. Together, we can make more football a more accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable place for people with ADHD.

If you have any questions about the guide, or would like any further support, please contact Jordan.Mason@NorthamptonshireFA.com
