Create The Feeling strategy showcased at Northampton Town FC
The Northamptonshire Football Association was proud to highlight its strong partnership with Northampton Town FC during the recent derby match against Peterborough United at Sixfields Stadium.
This memorable event served as the perfect platform to help display our 2024-2028 strategy, "Create the Feeling," celebrating our shared commitment to the growth and development of football across the county.
Our Create the Feeling strategy focuses on growing football across the county by fostering inclusivity, empowering communities, and inspiring participation at all levels. It aims to create opportunities for players, coaches, and referees while strengthening the connection between football and local communities. The strategy consists of four main corners; People, Places, Pathways and Partnerships.
As part of this special event, the Northamptonshire FA team was thrilled to attend the match and see the "Create the Feeling" strategy video featured prominently on Northampton Town's big screen both before the game and at halftime. In a very well contested game, Northampton town came out 2-1 winners on the occasion.
In addition to launching our strategy, we were delighted to contribute to Northampton Town’s Christmas Toy Campaign. This fantastic initiative, aimed at spreading joy to families during the festive season, is a testament to the power of football in making a tangible difference in the community. All donations were distributed to The Children's Trust, the Northamptonshire General Hospital Children's Ward, and Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
The support received through events like these highlights the importance of partnerships in striving to inspire and help positive change within football. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Northampton Town FC for their generosity in providing this platform to showcase our vision and their unwavering support for our initiatives. Together, we are committed to shaping a brighter, more inclusive future for football in Northamptonshire.
Looking ahead, we are excited to continue working hand-in-hand with Northampton Town FC and our other partners throughout the course of the 2024-2028 strategy.
